Gao Yanming
Executive Chairman



Gao Yanming is our Executive Chairman and is responsible for the overall development and operation of the Group’s business as well as the strategic development of our Group. He started his career as a technician in Daqing Ninth Oil Production Factory in 1987. In 1992, he joined Daqing Changsheng Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. as their assistant general manager in sales and was in charge of the sales of automated machinery. He became the chairman and general manager of Daqing Hi-Tech Development Zone Dafeng Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. ("DDEE") in 1995 and was in charge of overseeing the electronic engineering aspects of the business as well as matters in relation to human resource and finance. He maintained the same duties when he was appointed as the chairman and general manager of Daqing Dafeng Oilfield Technology Co., Ltd. ("DDOT") in 2002, Daqing Dafeng Technology Group Co., Ltd. in 2004 and Daqing Dominator Pump Manufacture Co., Ltd. in 2005.

He obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in 2003 from the Harbin Institute of Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree in 2005 from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. He is currently the People's Representative of Heilongjiang Province 10th People's Congress. He served as a committee member of Daqing City Jiusan Institute and is also the council member of the 5th China Petroleum Enterprise Society Council (2004 – 2009). He is the vice-president of Daqing Beijing Enterprises Chambers of Commerce. He was awarded the National Labour Medal by the Chinese National Federation of Trade Unions in April 2007.


Wu Fengwu
Executive Director and Vice-President (Sales and Marketing)

Wu Fengwu is our Executive Director and Vice-President (Sales and Marketing). He is responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities conducted by our Group in market development, product and service promotion as well as customer relationship development.

He started his career in 1997 as an office secretary in Daqing Mailing Bureau where he was in charge of the administration and liaison activities of the bureau. In 2000, he joined DDEE as its deputy general manager and was responsible for the administrative functions of the company until he joined DDOT in 2002 as our deputy general manager and specialised in leading the sales and marketing activities of DDOT. In 2004, he was appointed as the general manager of North Winner (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. and continue to spearhead the sales and marketing development of our Group. He graduated from Tianjin University with a Bachelor of Engineering (System Engineering) degree in 1997.


Liang Yansong
Non-Executive Director

Liang Yansong is our Non-Executive Director and is presently a Professor in Economic and Management School of Beijing University of Technology specialising in business management. He graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree, specialising in Computer Science and Engineering in 1982 and further obtained a Masters of Science in Management Science in 1984.

He was a lecturer of the Management School of Harbin Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1991. Between 1992 and 1997, he pursued his studies for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the University of Salford in the United Kingdom. Upon graduation, he joined Harbin Institute of Technology as an associate professor of its Management School in 1997. From 1998 to 2001, he joined the Technical Assistant Unit of EU-China Dairy Development Project, a project specialising in the development of the PRC dairy industry and funded by the European Union, as a business analyst and local consultant. He was responsible for developing and inspecting the implementation of business plans as well as providing annual assessments of the business plans, and providing training in business management. Prior to joining the Economic and Management School of Beijing University of Technology in 2003, he was a professor at the Management School of the Harbin Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003. He has been providing consultancy services to our Executive Chairman, Gao Yanming.


Kuan Cheng Tuck
Lead Independent Director

Kuan Cheng Tuck was appointed as our Lead Independent Director on 1 October 2008. He is currently also an independent director of FDS Networks Group Ltd, a company listed on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST. Mr Kuan has more than 14 years of experience in the fields of accounting, auditing as well as business and financial advisory. He currently manages his own accounting and consulting practices.

Mr Kuan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ("ACCA"), United Kingdom and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore as well as the Singapore Institute of Directors ("SID"). Mr Kuan is also an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators ("ICSA"), United Kingdom, the Singapore Association of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators ("SAICSA") and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore ("IPAS").


Er Kwong Wah
Independent Director

Er Kwong Wah is our Independent Director. He has served in the Singapore government civil service for 27 years including the Public Service Commission and various ministries such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Community Development. He was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education from 1987 to 1994, then became the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Community Development until his retirement in 1998.

He had previously held a number of public sector appointments, including the council member of the National University of Singapore, a board member of both the Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He had previously also served as deputy chairman of the Singapore Sports Council, and chairman and director of various Singapore government-linked companies. He has been the chairman of the Toa Payoh Central Citizens' Consultative Committee since 1999, and a member of the Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council since 2001. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1970 with a first class honours degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1978, he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester.


Ma Wing Yun Bryan
Independent Director

Ma Wing Yun Bryan is our Independent Director. He is currently the finance director of Union Sun International Group Limited, an investment holding company with affiliates dealing in property development and the building and operation of hydro-electric power plants in the PRC. He is currently an independent director of Celestial Nutrifoods Limited (listed on the SGX-ST) and China Zenith Chemical Group Limited (listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange). Mr Ma has accumulated approximately 20 years of experience in the areas of audit, financial and management accounting and taxation. He obtained a Professional Diploma in Accounting from The Polytechnic of Hong Kong (currently The Hong Kong Polytechnic University). He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Management Team

Hou Huaye
Vice-President (Research and Development)

Hou Huaye is our Vice-President (Research and Development) and joined our subsidiary, DDOT in 2002. He is overall in charge of the technical aspects of our business, as well as overseeing the development of new products of our Group. He started his career with Daqing Third Oil Production Factory in 1968 and subsequently became a section chief. In 1983, he was appointed as the chief engineer of Daqing Ninth Oil Production Factory. He was appointed as the assistant chief engineer of Xinjiang Talimu Oilfield Oil Exploration Command Department in 1990.

In 1994, he was appointed as the deputy director of Daqing City Government at Dalian Office. He joined DDOT as a director and deputy general manager in 2002. In 2004, he was appointed as general manager of One-up (Beijing) Petroleum Engineering Technology Development Co., Ltd. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Oil-Recovery Engineering from Beijing Petroleum Institute in 1968. In 1996, he obtained the qualification of Senior Engineer Researcher Level of Heilongjiang Province.


Wong Yuk
Chief Financial Officer

Wong Yuk is our Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the financial and accounting functions of our Group. He started his career as a senior auditor of KPMG Hong Kong in 1996. In 1999, he was appointed the assistant accounting manager of Lung Kee Metal Ltd Group, where he was responsible for the operations of the finance department and credit control department of its Shanghai subsidiary. He joined Taikoo Enterprises Ltd as their accounting and administration manager in 2001 and was responsible for managing the accounts of its ten subsidiaries. In 2003 he joined Towngas International Company Ltd as their financial controller, where he managed the IT department and was in charge of financial management accounting.

Prior to joining our Group, he was appointed the senior manager of LehmanBrown Financial Consulting Company Ltd in 2005, where he was in charge of the outsource accounting department and provided accounting services to multinational companies. In January 2007, he joined our Group as Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for internal control and financial reporting of the various entities of the Group. He obtained a Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Accountancy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1996. He is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Zhang Qingsheng
Vice-President (Production)

Zhang Qingsheng is our Vice-President (Production) and is responsible for the overall operations of the production activities of our Group, as well as production scheduling and quality assurance activities. He joined Daqing City Zhongqing System Consolidation Co., Ltd. as a programmer in 1997 and was subsequently promoted to be the manager of its technical department, where he was in charge of software development. In 2001, he joined DDEE as a manager of the information network centre of the company and was in charge of setting up the company's information network centre. From 2002 onwards, he was appointed as the deputy general manager of DDOT and has since been in charge of the production activities of our Group. He graduated from Qiqihar University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Fine Chemistry) degree. He obtained a Master degree in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Polytechnic University in 2001.
